foolproof suggestion to prevent fraud

Yes, so true. I always follow that advice. This should be instituted by the eCommerce community, and it would be fool-proof against fraud.

I am not computer savvy at all, but it would be very beneficial if all the web commerce sites followed this suggestion of mine. Take PayPal, for example. If some charity (like CCGTCC) or business or whatever lets you make a PayPal payment, I suggest it work like this:
-- first you put what you want in the shopping cart and select PayPal as the source of your payment, and enter your PayPal email address (but NOT your PayPal PASSWORD).
-- then, the software of the place you are shopping automatically has PayPal generate an invoice that appears on your main PayPal account page as an invoice or bill.
-- then, you log into your PayPal account and pay there (at the PayPal site) the bill/invoice there that you were expecting.
