That was a VERY effective phishing email, especially since they used your name in the greeting! Usually it is to "Dear Member" or Dear User" or something like that. But, yes, the cardinal rule is NEVER CLICK A LINK IN AN EMAIL!!!
If any familiar site is requesting information or a change of any sort, it is always best to close the email and go to your site directly to investigate further.
