Steve, thanks to call it the International Convention. Already last year I had people asking me how come that I flew halfway across the world to come to the Convention, their are members living in the USA who find it to far to go to Las Vegas.
This year I am also planning to go to Tunica, but I am trying to get more international collectors involved, but they would make a efford in come to Las Vegas, a lot to do there, but if it would be in a smaller place they would not even consider in comming that far. Not everybody is nuts like me, to fly 15+ hours to see some chips. I agree the International should stay in Las Vegas, but like Gene already said a other show could be staged at a other location.
I understand it is easy to have the Convention close to home, but if we held it in Europe I thinks a small family run hotel with a big garage could host us.....
That is just my thoughts....
Kind regards,
