my renewal notice email attempts were in groups of hundreds with at least 35% to 40% "bounced" due to incorrect / expired email addresses.
As far as the membership directory goes, printed membership directory has been made available by the club ever since I became a member. What is not on these membership lists are those members that chose to not have their names & information published. Many members want their contact information available to other members for trades, sales, etc... Until informed otherwise by the BoD, this policy will continue. There are very few people that make a request for membership lists -- most often, someone that might be running a local chip show requesting a list that is limited to the states nearby where fellow collectors might travel from to attend the show(s).
Finally -- our club is a VOLUNTEER organization. We do not put people to work, for the most part, unless they offer. You seem to know about grants and grant writing through your other organizations. If you want to help, that would be a great start since I doubt that there are many (if any) others that might have such knowledge. But the BoD won't ask (well, they might now) -- you would volunteer to do it.
