It is possible to submit a chip as
Casino Type: Non Casino
Collectible Type: Chips-All
You get 3000+ results from a Query on the current database.
It would seem to me that a new Collectible Type of "Brothel Advertising" could be created and future submissions would put them in the new category and a Query could be structured to return only brothel chips. The user would have to understand quite a bit about use of the Query function to avoid brothel chips also appearing in other Queries.
Unfortunately, it appears there hasn't been strict control on past entries, as included in the query above will be things like Jockey Club, LV (casino that never opened), lots of collector's personal chips, Harley Davidson ad chips, etc.
The way the Query functions is not clear to me with regard to the various categories checked when a scan is submitted. For instance, when I look for all Nevada casinos with $2.50 chips, I get the expected 2.50 table chips, but also several NCV chips (but not all of them).
Another example, when I query All Chips, Nevada, NCV, I get lots of NCV's, including some tournament chips. But if I want tournament chips (a subset of NCV), I have to query for Tournament and again get some but not all the tournament chips, apparently due to differences in the way each chips was loaded to the database.
The database doesn't seem to recognize that some classes of Query should include the sub-classes. As another example, a Query for Chips will not return Grand Opening chips (a sub-set of chips). I don't understand the distinction between Chips, and All Chips either.
Some of the above examples could be cleaned up by changing the way a submission was classified when it was loaded. Others appear not to be fixable because of the way the database was structured.
