If you have a little more time I would bypass Laughlin and go to Oatman,AZ. From there I would take RTE 66 to Kingman and while on that short ride enjoy what is probably the most scenic part of RTE 66, it doesn't get much better than this but drive careful. From Kingman go back to Vegas via the Damn, an easy drive.

In fact I may do this trip after registration on Wednesday.
