I've been to Laughlin a number of times over the years, but last visit was 6-7 years ago, not long after the Aquarius opened.
I am considering a day-trip before or after the convention this year... as long as it's not 110+ degrees there!

Anything to see or do to make the trip worthwhile, or is it the same old Laughlin?

Thought I'd leave LV and cross over the new (recent) highway bridge over Hoover Dam, via Arizona and Bullhead City ... check the casinos in Laughlin ... then return via Searchlight and Railroad Pass.

Trying to decide if the trip is worth 7-8 hours and a tank of gas, or if my time is better spent locally around Las Vegas.

Any opinions or advise on what to see? Thanks
