I have just put a consignment deal together to liquidate a comic book & 45 RPM record collection that has approx 7000 items in it! I have been buying & selling gaming memorabilia for about 15 yrs, but never any comic books or records. Over the past couple of weeks, I have spent a good bit of time researching the world of comic books and am a bit overwhelmed to say the least! The collection has comics from the 1950's to present day, and some are in excellent condition. My plan is to sell a lot of the collection on my e-bay site, but should I get an auction house to handle the "rare" issues?? Would appreciate any ideas from any of you that are in the comic book business!
