I have actually played at the first people’s casino. It was an interesting experience to say the least. I was a pit manager at Casino Windsor at the time. This place never stood a chance.

I am an avid collector of Ontario Chips. While I do have these (and the Upper Canada) chips in my collection (including the $1) chip, I would be happy to trade with you for Nevada chips. Email me and let me know what you are interested in. I like to think that I am very easy to trade with. Do you live in Ontario? I live north of Toronto.

In so far as value, I have seen both the $5 and $25 chips posted on this board over the last 10 years. The $5 has been offer from between $3 and $10. The $25 has been offered between $5 and $25. I am not aware of any prices actually realized. This was a small operation. I think they only had 5 or 6 tables total. I would suspect that if you have enough to fill a tray, that you have a large portion of the chips.

I can’t really add too much info on the Upper Canada chips. I think that you will find researching Ontario Chips to be extremely difficult, but also incredibly interesting. Are you going to the convention?
