Well I wish I had better news, but I wanted to let you know that our home was recently burglarized
and our entire casino chip collection was stolen. We had about 700-900 ALL NORTHERN NEVADA ( Reno-Carson-Virginia City-Tahoe ) chips. Many of these chips were in rare pristine condition bought from Bud Meyers, Omaha Mike, Sarles and Spragg.

Although I never actually joined the club, ( I don’t know why? ) I was hoping you could put the word out within the club to be on the watch for a large quantity of stolen mostly Reno chips . We don’t believe the thieves really know what they have and that they may try to sell them all carelessly. If you do encounter something like this please get me whatever info about the seller you can!

It had taken me many years to acquire so many rare Reno chips and I’m not sure I want to go through trying to find them all again. Losing them is quite a blow and I’m not sure I can re-motivate. If I cancel this years show reservations I’ll at least stay in touch.
