Hey Jill,

I believe what you are seeing is that when the chip was made, that they mixed in some UV material with the material used to form the ring.
I have seen some PaulSon's chip that the edge inserts are fluorescent under UV light. Also I have seen som BJ edge marks that also glow under UV light...
