Here's mine - definately a dark charcoal
In Response To: Saddle West, Pahrump 25c ()

I can categorically say that the one I have IS NOT maroon or brown or chocolate or any other versions of brown or reddy brown....it's 100% charcoal. While it's not an exact match from the sample it's close. Basically "Dark" Charcoal or maybe "Darkcoal" grin

The issue is that the Paulson colours seemed to change over time. There are some huge variations in the same colour. Don, while your charcoal colour sample chip may not match exactly to the SW 25c, it doesn't mean it's not that colour. It could just mean that the colour sample was made at a different time to the 25c and at that time the colour composition of the chip had changed.

Here's some example of why one colour can vary so much and why sometimes its hard to get an exact match.
