What color is it, really...

Well I finally found my Saddle West quarter. Viewed by itself it does look like it has a little brown in it. TCR called it dark grey, and I never thought to challenge it until The Chip Guide listed two color varieties.

I can't compare my chip with another one, but here is the chip with three Paulson color samples. Nothing matches exactly. It's definitely not Chocolate. The dark brown looks close in the right light. The Charcoal is the best match in the scan; I haven't tweaked anything.

I think my conclusion is there's probably only one color for the chip but I don't know what to call it. Any suggestions? Maybe dark grey with a pinch of brown?

The chip slug is dark brown and the text on inlay
