From The Reserve Hotel and Casino, Henderson, NV. Made by USPCC under the Aristocrat brand, with a printing date of 2000. (The casino closed in 2001.)
Cataloged in the Nevada Casino Playing Card Guide (NCPCG) as 196 A, Fancy Faces 14 with logo corners. "Logo corners" is actually a feature used on Aces only, as patented by Tech Art, Inc. of Las Vegas, as Tech Art II, for their MAXTime®, no-peek viewing device used by the dealer to check to see if a hole card is an Ace. This deck uses a Jumbo Index, i.e., big numbers and letters for ranks. The backs are in the Aristocrat Diamond design.
This is my only example of this deck. According to NCPCG, this same deck was also made with red backs; a deck I need.
Additionally, the deck was also printed with standard (small) numbers (regular index) in blue and burgundy backs, showing a rhino and elephant, respectively.
But wait, there's more! The regular index decks were also made by Gemaco with an additional back color and animal, yellow/gazelle, all in the Gemaco Gemback design.
Thanks for looking!
