Very nice, Rich! grin I grew up...

...right next door to Pasadena in Eagle Rock. Which I think I have told you before. I ran with a number of road players in the 70's before moving up here to Las Vegas in 1980. Ever hear of Doc White? One quick story. Doc & I ran together for about 2 years off & on in Los Angeles. One day he says he knows of a 3 ball game in COMPTON! I said I can't go to Compton, Doc. I will not make it out of there alive if we win any money. Of course Doc was not worried about that because he was black. grin He said we will be fine. rofl! So, we go down there & win about $2,000. I still can't believe we got out of there with the money. Funny thing is later on I was a bounty hunter for a short time & went to Compton a number of times looking for guys who had jumped bail.

Below is one of my South West cues. Below that a photo taken when we won the State Championship in 1996. I am the third from the right in the photo. Jerry Franklin is on the far right & was one of my best friends. He owned South West cues & made the cue shown here for me in 1992. He sadly died about a month after this photo was taken.

Like you I do not really play anymore. My table here at the house collects dust. And of course casino chips. grin Jay Sands can tell you about that. rofl
