I remember making a few chip bowls from some badly scratched 33-1/3 LPs.
With 3 small children in our house, finding badly scratched LPs wasn't all that
hard.

Place on a foil-covered cookie sheet, the records went into a 350º oven for a
few minutes. Keeping a close watch, when the records reached the desired
depth/shape, they were removed from the oven.
