When you see sellers on Ebay selling older chips, you can usually tell if they tried to clean their chips. They often have a phony "whitewash" look to them.

Kind of like fake boobs..sure they resemble the originals, but it is not too difficult to usually spot the difference..unless the "surgeon" did a fantastic job..
