I also found that Windex turned a gold hotstamp
from gold to silver...

Also, some chips really looked 'dried out' and
faded after windex.. for example the chips from
Golden Buffalo in Lower Brulle.

Now I just use a bit of Dawn on a soft toothbrush
and rinse a lot.
