Shown in the scan is a 7 piece set of chips which were produced by the Burt Co. of Portland, Maine for the Trump Plaza Casino (House Mold Design) in Atlantic City in the 1980s. The chips were found to be defective (brittle) and they were rejected for use by the casino. Losing this large order forced the Burt Co. to go out of business. The Burt Co. had been a major producer of Casino chips since the early 1900s.
ASM took over the Burt chip manufacturing business and continued to produce chips for another 30+ years.
This set is in nearly uncirculated condition and contains examples of the $1, $5, $25, $100, $500 and $1000 (over sized) chips.
The set is $200.00 delivered to US address.
I only have one set of these chips available please email me to order these historic chips. jerrybirl@verizon.net
Take care,
