I bought a box of chips 10 years ago that is still paying for the chips I'm buying today.

The key is where you get your 'investment' chips from. Ebay, dealers, collectors, you won't make a dime. (Occasionally on ebay you can find a gem if it's posted wrong or something). Flea markets, garage sales, craigslist (sometimes), casino digs!....that's where you buy (or find) great chips for a few bucks and sell them for way more, thus fueling your 'hobby' or addiction.

But...you really have to have a lot of time to kill to sift through 100 garage sales to find one chip or....one box.
