The thicker chip looks pristine. On the thinner chip, the edges are rounded and the crosshatching is gone outside of the center indentation where the inlay is. It's just a matter of wear. Standing on its edge does not tell the story on its own. It's worth noting, but a chip that stand on its edge can be pretty worn, as your two chip demonstrate.
