Chip is not from Cuba, the chip you show

was already being sold as Cuban since around 2005. A couple of these were found in Cuba, or so said the first to introduce them, and after that they have been trying to sell them as Cuban.

The reason for these chips, and similar ones, been accepted by many Cuban collectors is that there was a 1957 casino in the isle of Youth in Cuba called Colony Casino and the chips were 2 C's interlocked each pointing different directions. So, anything that looked like the "crossed C chips" as they were known until 2 years ago, were sold as Cuban!!

These are the 2 types of Colony Casino chips found, roulettes and denomination chips

Anything that looked like the Colony Casino chips have been sold as Cuban for years. Including the one you mention, a couple I show here, and many more
