I was going thru some stuff getting ready for my "Super 7 - $7.00 Sale" and I came across this Desert Inn $25.00 4 suits mold chip. I picked this chip up several years ago at a local auction. The chip only had an inlay on one side.
I looked at it tonight and thought I would share what I saw with all of you.
As you can see the chip has a "Brass Core" which is normally hidden by the center inlay. This "Brass Core" definitely adds weight to this plastic chip.
Has anyone else seen chips weighted in this way ?? I have a Hat and Cane Mold chip which has a Lead core also for added weight.
I don't collect denominated chips, but I am going to keep this one for my sample collection.
Finding something like this is what I really like about this hobby
