I'm not questioning the existence of the chip that Alex submitted to The Chip Guide. Would just like to get TCG and TCR in sync on cross references.

I attended the informal "auction" that Howdy conducted at Gambler's General Store in the early 70's. There were lots and lots of notched or drilled Langworthy chips from their files that were sold. I got only a relatively inexpensive "Reel Deal" chip, as I recall. I'm guessing that Alex's chip came from that auction. Whether he won it or not I don't remember; he usually outbids me if we both want something out of the ordinary .
