I went to the Cable Beach area casino, and the place was deserted. That was on a weekend when you would think the place would be packed. You could see all the high-rise construction going on around the casino, and the hotels are going to be spectacular. Don't know if that area of Nassau can compete with Paradise Island. A walk through the casino from front to back only encountered a few casino employees. Maybe, August is a terrible month for tourism in the Bahamas. That's my two cents.
