I understand your concern. Unfortunately slabbing brings with it a false security not a real security. If slabbing were limited to a authentication I could perhaps accept it in concept, of course the authentication is not a major concern in this hobby (although there are some issues).

I also don't support a ban on slabbed chips at the convention. (Although I would support a ban on slabbing companies from having tables). I have different reasons than you for this position.
