The "D" chips are still using the "sunburst" mold as used on the original chips.
The sunburst mold was introduced by the Blue Chip Company, prior to the company being acquired. (By GPI / Paulson?)

So it appears the mold is still available for orders (or re-orders?) if this new supply was recently manufactured.
