I don't think I said stealing a stack was ok, or at least I didn't mean that. No. Taking a stack of chips hurts the casinos more.

And again, I have no problems personally with harvesting. I don't do it, but then again, I don't collect roulette and tournament chips. I don't think casinos mind you taking regular play chips, I think they encourage it. However, from the viewpoint of some industry people I have known (NOT MY OPINION), taking roulette and tournament chips is stealing and they enforce that rule.
