I pay once per year. They do have a number of levels of membership. I currently use the US records membership but I did purchase the international records level for two years. After two years I had exhausted what was available so I went back to US only. I may re-up for international in a year or two to see what new information is available but I would not recommend that level until after you have a solid base of research on the US.
