I just won and paid for an item on EBay (not a chip.) On the auction page was a button to pay with PayPal. In the past this kind of button took me to a PayPal log-in page and then to the usual payment sequence where I would have to change the payment method from my checking account to my credit card. I understand PayPal's preference for an immediate bank debit but I have my preference. Anyway today the PayPal button completed the entire transaction. No log-in to PayPal and no option to switch the payment to my credit card. Is this something new? Is there a way to choose to pay via a credit card?
