John, I agree with you. I am not a beach person, I live 40 minutes from Santa Monica beach, and never go. We have been all over the Caribbean several times but never Cuba. In 1984 when the Los Angeles Olympics was going, we were on a cruise ship passing Cuba and we saw the games on TV from Cuba on the ship. In fact we saw three of our kids sitting in the stands watching the events.....while on the ship in the middle of the ocean....

Does anyone know what former casinos are close to the Hotel Nacional? I see the Capri is two blocks away, any others? I'd like to see the Tropicana and the Riviera...others too......
