I think this should answer your question grin

"Technically, to qualify as an LE, a chip must say 'LTD' or 'Limited' and have a number of chips produced in the production run. A chip produced for a special occasion but does not have the number of chips in the run printed on it is a Commemorative chip."

Thera are also some other very accurate descriptions as to what a Limited Edition chip is that are posted on this message board (concerning Nevada).
