When the authorized Dig was permitted, there were very few remanants of chips acquired and no chucks of concrete with embedded chips. I do believe that tokens and concrete chunks with tokens were unearthed, but by and large, it had already been picked over.

However, as best I can tell, about the deepest down anyone got was about 12 - 18 inches, with vast majority of harvesting happening in the surface to 6 inches deep range. The conjecture is that the chips and tokens were dumped into a section of the foundation (Southeast corner) and were unearthed when the bulldozers went through breaking up and then pulling out the foundation and generally leveling the earth around.
