This might sound silly and possibly naive, but just hear me out:
I recently inherited some chips from my grandfather. I am keeping the ones that fit into my collection, but several do not. I decided to sell those ones on Ebay - one of my main goals is to ensure that they find a good home where they can be proudly displayed, because otherwise they'd just sit in my closet.
The high bidder on several of my chips right now is the ebay user realvegaschips; he seems to do a lot of wheeling and dealing both on ebay and on his website - which is absolutely fine, of course - but it kind of goes against my goal of being the one to help them find a good home. I feel like I'm on somewhat of a moral quest here, to do what's right for the chip, and I'm afraid that this user is trying to make a profit off of this.
Again - silly or naive? Possibly. And of course I'll follow the rules of the auction, I don't plan to do anything shady or unethical here.
I was just wondering if anyone knew who this person was, or had any comments on this issue.
Thanks,
Mark
