While I may not (ever ) agree with you on this one, I am sure that you have a good grasp of what works there. You & your administrators do a great job & hopefully all chip collectors appreciate your efforts. I will note in closing, that the big difference in your analogy between H-D chips & limited editions is that the LEs are / were casino-related.
