Re: Questions on Harley-Davidson Chip

“Actually, they are listed under Advertising Chips.

No, they are all over each state so when you go to a state you get many HD locations. (That is why I brought this up)

Here the state of Wisconsin (53 listings 17 Harley-Davidson stores and 34 casinos with LINKS to the HD Stores (but says link to casino))

http://www.themogh.org/cg_state2.php?id=wi

There are many CHIP collectors who collect them. I believe the site is called "The Chip Guide". Those collectors who have no interest in other than casino chips do not have to click onto the link. Why take away a reference portion of the hobby that so many enjoy? “

Then we should all agree to remove ALL non-chips out of the guide since they and NOT CHIPS???? I vaguely remember some club members telling an ashtray collector that “we didn’t care about casino ashtrays since they WERE NOT CASINO CHIPS”

There are MANY CHIP Collectors who collect coins and currency.....and coins and currency have been used at every casino....so should we have a coin and currency section on "The Chip Guide"??

And Isn't "The Chip Guide" part of The Museum of Gaming History? So when did HD chips become part of Gaming History??

I’m not trying to make things difficult for people who want to collect non-casino chips, I’m just trying to understand the direction of The Chip Guide/MOGH and should it have items that have no connection to a casino or gambling?

From the MOGH website: Scope of the Collection - The Museum will collect artifacts related to or representative of the history of gaming. And since "The Chip Guide" is pretty much our Vitrual Museum, shouldn't it follow the scope that was created by and for the MOGH?

I would like to hear from the BOD of MOGH and understand what these chips have to do with the scope of the MOGH.
