You're lucky that you didn't win auctions on different days, as he won't combine over more that one day's wins either.
His shipping charges are totally annoying, and often more expensive that what others charge.
Problem is that he posts some good stuff at good prices, and he does explain what his shipping charges are, and how they are figured.
If you are allowed back on his auctions, just know that you are going to "pay more" than the final bid, due to the old style "make money on shipping charges policy"
that he still has in place.
