...and since they were not... and since there was no damage to the chips, it doesn't really matter how they arrived -- which is almost the outcome every single time as I noted in my post... even when I complained here about a MOP chip being mailed in a plain #10 envelope that was safe and sound upon delivery... I guess some of us need to not be so concerned as to how some chips are packaged when they arrive safely...
