Now, your two lavenders are the typical color that is found. I was always torn between white and gray. I think if those chips are well scrubbed the true color will emerge. I don't see lavender. My lavender is the only chip I have run across that i would actually call lavender (light lavender),

Age and dirt will muck up the original color.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the gray and lavender were not ordered together. I bet one was a reorder of the other. The colors are just too close. The reordered color was not mixed in the same proportions as the original. They are definitely different.
