Fred's link was right on the money and very true. Your link was
funny as well. Also true, however, when you compare Florida...
Not mentioned were the spiders, snakes, mosquitos, enormous
insects and other poisonous critters that we don't have here in
the frozen north. OK, some of our poisonous critters up north
do walk upright and they call themselves politicians. Unsure
which is worse: New Jersey or Massachusetts. LOL
Nor do we get the deluge of windstorms that Florida receives
each year. Then there's the humidity.
We do get Nor'easters and, at times, lots of snow, but we, thus
far, have managed to survive.
All in all, Florida does have its advantages, like the sunsets, the
beautiful beaches, oranges, transplanted Northerners and other
nice people, but, all in all, I'll still take the Northeast...
