Greetings all

My laptop came infected with Windows 8. Although it's driving me crazy(ier) I've learned quite a bit of it.
My Problem/Question. I can't get Win 8 to talk to my Lexmark printer. I've tried Lexmark's website for a driver to no avail.
Forums I've checked suggest that there is, as of yet, no workaround, Win 8 is just not backward compatible with some older equipment: (a 3 or 4 year old printer...)
Has anyone else encountered this? Anyone know of a solution?
