Have you seen the Howard Herz book "A Collector's Guide to Nevada Gaming Checks & Chips"?
Published in 1995, and out of print I think, though C.T. Coin booth at the convention may (?) still have copies.

Anyway, it shows extensive examples of Bud Jones molds. In fact, the BJ section goes from page 28 to page 49 (20+ pages!)
Not as complicated as it sounds though.

The club library has a copy of this book too, I'm sure.
