Those drawings are probably priceless now. Though everybody loves cars, the Avanti wasn't his most influential work. Loewy practically invented the Industrial Design profession back in the 1930s. His big contribution was really the very notion that ordinary objects could recieve the same kind of attention to design as cars were already getting.
