Today's "Chips of the Day" concludes this series and come from the "CAL-NEVA LODGE" located on Highway 28 in Crystal Bay, on the north shore of the Lake. First opened back in 1926 as a small cabin, this place quickly became a favorite hangout for the Locals. When a fire destroyed the Cabin on May 17th, 1937 it was quickly rebuilt in just 30 days by employing 500 men who worked around the clock and reopened later that same year. Today's classic crest & seal chips were their first chips issued after reopening in 1937. Enjoy!
