i should have said in my original post that I had read eBay's restrictions on Ivories. But I couldn't determine from their instructions why "bone ivory" listings were OK according to thee selleer but not just "ivory"--bone ivory, after all includes bones from elephants and whales. So I remained puzzled as to why I can search for "ivory" & find chips listed as "ivory" w/op other description.
