Here in Nashville there just are not any decent antique shows. The monthly flea market is pretty good but you get the same dealers with the same items every month. So you just have be inventive if you want to get anything. Today I went to a huge civil war show. There were even a few antique dealers and of course enough weapons to fully equip the Chinese army. But then we ARE in Hillbilly Heaven I even saw the .22 rifle I got from my brother and sold at a yard sale in the 1970's for $45. Asking price? $2950.00 ULPPPP!
Anyway on to the chips. I found this very beat up ivory and was wondering what it was coded as. I only have the old Antique chips book and it looks closest to IRB. Is that what it is or is there a newer code for it? Any idea of todays value? There were other ivory chips there including a very nice fan chip but the dealer wanted $75 for it and I just didn't know if that was a reasonable price or not. Any ideas on that one? I can always go get it tomorrow.
