I had five older $100 baccarat chips from casinos still open in Las Vegas. I was at Bellagio, and submitted all them to the Cashier. She took them to the back where someone researched them for 5 minutes and all were cashed. I wasn't sure that the Mirage one level obsolete would be cashed but it wasn't questioned. Casinos involved were Aria, Bellagio, Mirage (2), and Mandalay Bay (all MGM properties).

I also had 7 Caesars Palace older $5 and $20 chips. The Caesars cashier took them all without question, as I expected. I think they even redeem Caesars Tahoe chips, but I haven't tried.
