The 1999 chips were from Lee Jones (can't seem to locate his email - I have his old SGI in my address book). They were the fish chips. Overall nice chips, but the photographer credit was a little too large. The general rule is that the winner gets the chips made and can sell them to the masses. From the small profit, the winner/designer keeps a certain number of sets for himself.
Since John dissed us last year (not intentionally, he is a really bad procrastinator) Lee took some of his sets and sold them to people.
One thing to mention. There is usually one extra chip (the purple chip) that is not purchaseable and is given to people who help out for the cause.
