They could also be managing the property for CIM, kind of like the work the Navegante Group does for casino hotels. Some investors don't want to be bogged down managing a casino. It's not easy work.
Another company (non gaming) is very good at this. Marriott usually brands and manages hotels built by other investors.
Or it could be something of just a lease of the casino space. Where Fifth Street Gaming leases the casino space for a nice monthly payment, maybe a percentage of the ebitda. Where they have probably worked out the comping side with the hotel and restaurants also.
A lot of different ways to get this done.
