Thanks for the input Steve. I never considered

some of those things as I always start an auction with a price I think is fair to start with. I would always consider a lower offer but 50-90% off my starting price is really pushing it for me.

I completely understand why someone would cancel a bid if the description changed, and to a lesser degree if someone wouldnt allow combined shipping. However I have had several bids canceled with no changes and only a lame excuse. I am sure either those people changed their minds or found a better offer somewhere else.

Either way, I dont look at those as acceptable reasons to cancel a bid that should be binding.

I like your suggestion on the last point, but most of those I was referring to contacted me after the auction had ended. I still dont understand why someone would even email me if they werent interested in the first place. I guess it is like people who post sold signs on the board and then never make payment.

Just weird how some people act.

On the football topic, on some days OSU looks better than Baylor. I think we will end up with another 1-2 losses for the season with Tech and Baylor up next. If we can win one than that probably means a Cotton bowl bid. If we win both (Highly unlikely) that means we may still go to a BCS bowl.

Thanks again for your thoughts,
Doug
